Times To Treasure

Hi, Everyone! 2012 is approaching us.Wow! The year just flew by. I wish everyone a Wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy and healthy New Year.

Card size 6x6 Pocket Tag Card .The image I used is Times To Treasure by Lili Of The Valley.I have had this image for awhile and just now inking it up. Isn’t that always the way? Smiles. I colored this image with Sketch Copic Markers. Colors used - Skin -E13,E11, E21, Hair - E59, E57, E55, Vest - G85, G82, G40, Sleeves - B95, B93, B91, Shoes – C7, C5, C1, Hat and Shoes - R83, R81, RV000, RV00, Book - E34, E33, E31, Bench - E29,E25, E35. Prisma Colored pencils with Odorless Mineral Spirits were added for these. Grass -Moss Green, Marine Green, Olive Green, Shadow around the image - Slate Grey, Vest - Olive Green, Sleeves – Slate Grey, Shoes and Socks– Warm Grey 30%.

Card stock Stampin Up –Pretty in Pink and Whisper White, Dp – Julianne by K and Company another paper pad I had awhile. I am a paper addict what can I say? LOL. Sizzix Die- Birds and Branches, Martha Stewart - Swirling Lace Punch Around the page, Marianne Design Creatable Die - Frame Circle and Swirl Frame, Spellbinders Nestability – Label Seven looks like a book. How cool is that? for this image. Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts, and KaiserCraft. I spritz the flowers with Glimmer Mist Iridescent Gold wow did these flowers pop. Heart shaped wood button - Joann’s, from my stash-Twine, Blue Crystal, and White Satin Scallop ribbon. This ribbon blended so nicely with this card, Black Viva Pearl Pen- on the buckles of her shoes, Stardust Stickles on her socks.

Christmas Penguin Fun

Hi, Everyone!! I would like to thank everyone for your sweet words and prayer's regarding my sister in laws death. You just never know what a person is going through until you go through it. Thank you so very much. I am truly blessed.  I especially Thank You for my Gramma’s  97th Birthday Wishes.

 

 

Easel card size is 5.50. The image I used is Whimsy Stamps – Snow Fun. I have to tell you it was fun to color this image. The image is colored with Sketch Copic Markers and stamped with Memento Black Ink.  Sketch Copic Markers used – Hats, Earmuffs and Sledge – R39, R37, R35, R32, Prisma Colored Pencil- Tuscan Red and Mineral Spirits – I was very impressed with the colors for the Red combo – I am not a Red person. I am trying to ease myself into it. I have learned to use these colors from http://bevscrafts.blogspot.com/. It was amazing. Thanks so much for your tutorials. Scarf – YG99, YG97, YG95, Penguin’s Feet, Hands, and Nose – YR15, YR12, Penguins – C7,C5,C3, C1, Snowman- C1,-C00 applied  Décor Art Glamour Dust around the image, Snowman Nose-R20,  Blue Sky I used my Airbrush Compressor Machine – B00.  Hat Brims and Pom Poms- Sparkly Fluff - Sugar,  Glitter under the sledge- Deco Art Glamour Dust. Card Stock- Real Red and Whisper White – Stampin Up, Dp – My Minds Eye- Snowfall, White SnowFlake on the right – AcMoore, Snowflake Stamp- Whimsy Stamp – Winter Letter Seals, Versafine – Crimson Red, Martha Stewart- Crystal Fine Glitter around the SnowFlake Sentiment, Crystal Gems- my stash, Pine Cones – my stash, Double ended Red Holly Berry– Wild Orchid Crafts. On the Pine Cones, Magnolia Doohickey Leaf Die and the Double ended Red Holly Berries I applied- Glistening Snow–Tex Glittering Snow this is my first time using it. I love this product. I used a small sponge to apply Glistening Snow-Tex Glittering Snow. I have better control. I tend to be heavy handed. Icicles under the image and Sentiment- Marianne Design Creatable Die Icicles- applied Ice Crystal Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Paint while it was still wet added Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter.  The results were AWESOME!! Snowflakes on the Sentiment – Ek Success Punch.
